Product Details
This is a custom-made T-slot slider nut. It can be made of stainless steel, carbon steel or aluminum, and is formed through hot forging or die-casting processes. The surface can be treated with natural color, galvanized or anodized. The main body of the product is in a rectangular block shape. At the top, there is a T-shaped sliding rail protrusion that matches the aluminum profile channel. In the middle, there is a standard internal thread hole that is longitudinally贯穿processed. This "slider + nut" integrated design enables it to freely slide and position within the T-slot channel of industrial aluminum profiles, and can be quickly locked with external connecting components through lateral bolts. Compared to traditional rear-mounted ball nuts, this slider nut has higher bearing stiffness and more precise positioning stability. It is the preferred connection solution for heavy-duty frames and high-precision equipment. The non-standard customization feature allows for adjusting the slider size, thread direction and protrusion shape according to the profile series, load requirements and space limitations.
T-shaped slide rail boss structure
At the top, there is a T-shaped boss that matches the slot of the aluminum profile. The height of the boss precisely matches the depth of the slot, and after sliding in, the gap between the top and bottom is less than 0.3 millimeters, ensuring smooth sliding without shaking. The two sides of the boss can be equipped with anti-detachment chamfers or straight edges, respectively suitable for ordinary installation and anti-detachment requirements.
Horizontal threaded through-hole design
The threaded holes are perpendicular to the sliding direction of the slider and run horizontally throughout the width. Bolts can be inserted from the side to connect, and the connection direction is perpendicular to the axis of the profile, which is particularly suitable for lateral installation of panels and brackets.
Solid block-shaped high-strength body
The entire body is made by machining or forging a solid metal block. There is no hollow thin-walled structure. The shear strength and compressive strength are much higher than those of thin sheet nuts formed by stamping, and it can withstand the impact load of heavy equipment.
Four-sided processing positioning reference
The four sides of the slider are all precision machined surfaces, which can be used as positioning references during assembly to ensure the parallelism or perpendicularity requirements of the connecting parts and the profile.
Top pressure-bearing plane
At the root of the T-shaped boss, there is a wide and thick horizontal pressure-bearing surface. When the bolt is tightened, it directly presses against the edge of the profile slot, forming a stable friction locking, preventing the slider from rotating or tilting in the slot.
High stiffness and precise positioning
The solid block structure eliminates elastic deformation, and combined with precisely processed slide rails, the positioning repeatability accuracy can reach ±0.1 millimeters. It is suitable for high-precision equipment that requires repeated position adjustments, such as the guard cover of CNC machines and the follow-up bracket of laser cutting machines.
Heavy-duty bearing capacity
The M8 specification slider in the 40 series aluminum profiles has an anti-detachment force of over 3000 Newtons, which is 2 to 3 times that of ordinary ball nuts, meeting the installation requirements of heavy-duty motors, reducers and other large mass components.
One-way sliding anti-detachment
The geometric fit between the T-shaped protrusion and the channel forms a natural anti-detachment structure. Even if the bolt is not tightened, the slider will not fall vertically and will only slide in the direction of the channel length, significantly enhancing the safety of high-altitude operations and flipping assembly.
Multi-directional connection expansion
According to custom requirements, additional threaded holes, through holes or protrusions can be added to the top, bottom or side of the slider to achieve complex connection layouts in three-dimensional space, replacing multiple traditional connection components with one piece.
Long durability and long service life
The metal slider and aluminum profile channel have the same metal contact (or zinc coating protection), with a low wear coefficient. After repeated sliding for ten years, the mating clearance does not increase significantly, while the spring steel balls of ball nuts are prone to fatigue failure.
