Product Details
This is a non-standard customized round-head knurled press-fit pin. It is made of low-carbon steel and is formed through cold heading. The surface is treated with environmentally friendly galvanization. The product consists of three functional sections: the large round head at the front provides thrust stop and aesthetic decoration; the straight-grained knurling in the middle forms a mechanical interlock structure; and the conical chamfer at the tail end facilitates insertion and assembly. It is specially designed for permanent or semi-permanent connections of soft substrates (aluminum alloy, plastic, wood), achieving reliable fixation without welding or threading through cold pressing technology. It is widely used in furniture hardware, automotive interiors, electronic and electrical fields.
Large round head positioning design:The mushroom-shaped head has a diameter approximately twice that of the rod diameter, providing a reliable axial thrust surface while also featuring a decorative appearance.
Straight line pattern knurled contact area:The middle section features precise straight-line engraved patterns, with sharp and complete tooth shapes. When pressed into the substrate, they form a 360° radial mechanical locking.
Conical introduction tail end:The 30° conical design at the tail end ensures automatic centering and guiding during pressing, reducing the wear on the hole walls and material bulging.
Neck stress release groove:The junction of the head rod has a natural transition arc, which eliminates stress concentration and prevents the head from breaking off or falling off when subjected to impact.
Bright white galvanized layer:Uniform and dense zinc coating, salt spray test ≥ 24 hours, meeting the anti-corrosion requirements for general indoor environments.
1. Tool-free assembly with pressure fitting
Assembly can be completed using only a press machine or simple fixtures, without the need for pre-tightening screws, welding or gluing. The single-piece assembly cycle time is reduced to less than 3 seconds, significantly improving production line efficiency.

The serrated tooth profile is specifically optimized for soft materials such as aluminum, ABS, PC, and density boards. After pressing, the tooth tips embed into the substrate to form a mechanical interlock, with an anti-pull-out force of over 200N (measured for 5 specifications of aluminum substrates).
3. Permanent anti-loosening
Unlike threaded fasteners which have the risk of loosening, the serrated press-fit forms an irreversible metal-to-substrate integrated connection. It remains stable and reliable even in vibration environments.
4. Decorative appearance
The large round head design can be exposed as a decorative element. The surface can be treated with chrome plating, nickel plating, or painting, matching different product appearance styles.
