Product Details
This is a custom-made stainless steel bolt, also known as eye-type bolt, lifting ring bolt or fork-shaped bolt. It is made of 304 or 316 stainless steel through hot forging and precision machining, and its surface is polished to a natural finish or undergoes electrochemical passivation treatment. The product structure consists of a full-threaded body and a flat circular eye at the end. The inner hole of the circular ring is smooth and can serve as a hinge point, while the threaded part of the body is used to lock with a nut or an internal threaded hole. This "threaded fastening + hinge connection" integrated design enables it to achieve axial tension while allowing the connected components to swing or rotate within a certain angle range. It is widely used in flexible connection scenarios such as lifting rigging, tensioned structures, movable connections, and marine hardware in various fields. The non-standard customization feature allows for flexible adjustment of the thread specification, the diameter of the circular hole, and the length of the body, meeting a full range of requirements from heavy-duty lifting to precise adjustment.
Flat oval eye head
The end is forged into a flat circular ring, with the diameter of the ring hole being 1.5 to 3 times that of the rod diameter. The wall thickness of the hole is sufficient, and the inner hole accuracy is H11 grade. The fit with the standard pin shaft is moderate, ensuring flexible swinging while avoiding excessive shaking.
Full thread or semi-thread rod body
The standard type is fully threaded coverage, with a large adjustment range; the customized type can be a plain section + threaded section. The plain section can be used as a guide or for shear resistance, and the threaded section is specifically for locking. The separation of functions optimizes the force distribution.
Hexagonal narrowed neck
For some specifications, a hexagonal column is set between the circular ring and the thread to facilitate the wrench clamping and fixation, preventing the bolt from rotating when adjusting the nut. A single person can complete the tensioning operation.
Precise polished surface
The stainless steel is mechanically polished or electrolytically polished, with a surface roughness of Ra ≤ 0.8 micrometers. There are no cracks or folds, which is convenient for magnetic particle or penetrant testing, meeting the safety certification requirements of special equipment.
Forged streamlined continuity
The hot forging process distributes the metal fibers along the circular ring contour. Unlike bending or welding processes, there are no stress concentration sources, and the fatigue life is increased by 2 to 3 times, suitable for alternating load working conditions.
Hinged swinging degree
The circular eye and the cooperating pin shaft form a hinge joint, allowing the connecting piece to swing within the range of ±15° to ±30°. It automatically adapts to angle deviations and avoids bending stress caused by rigid connections. It is particularly suitable for working conditions with vibration or misalignment.
Strong all-directional load-bearing capacity
The circular eye structure has consistent load-bearing capacity in all directions. Unlike the eccentric limitation of ordinary ring bolts, it can withstand multi-directional forces, simplifying the structural design and allowing a single piece to replace connecting pieces in multiple directions.
Corrosion-resistant and long service life
The 304/316 stainless steel material performs well in corrosive environments such as marine, chemical, and outdoor conditions. It does not require galvanization or painting maintenance. The total life cycle cost is lower than that of carbon steel parts, and it is also aesthetically pleasing and enhances the equipment's grade.
Easy tension adjustment
The threaded rod body is combined with double nuts or slotted nuts, allowing precise adjustment of the connection length and tension force. Once in place, an opening pin can be inserted for anti-loosening, with a regulation accuracy of up to 0.5 millimeters, superior to welding or riveting fixed connections.
Safe redundant design
The transition area between the circular eye and the rod body adopts a forged streamlined continuous structure, without welding defects, with uniform stress distribution; it can be paired with safety pins or R-type pins to form mechanical anti-loosening, meeting the safety requirements of lifting specifications.
