Oakland Port Commission approves nearly $20 million for solar energy

On July 18, the Oakland Harbor Commission approved $19.3 million to purchase Solar power from the Grace Solar Facility over the next 20 years. Under the agreement, the port will purchase approximately 8MW of Solar power per year from Grace Orchard Energy's Grace Solar Facility in Riverside County, California.
