Iran is commissioning over 100 megawatts of new photovoltaic power generation capacity every week.
According to an August 21 report by Iran News Agency, the head of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Organization of the Iranian Ministry of Energy stated that according to the government's plan, by March next year, the country's total renewable energy power generation capacity will increase from the current 2,000 megawatts to 7,000 megawatts. Currently, the scale of new photovoltaic power generation put into operation each week exceeds 100 megawatts.
