IRENA: 451.9GW of solar PV installed capacity will be added globally in 2024
On March 27, according to the latest "Renewable Energy Capacity Statistics 2025" released by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), global renewable energy capacity will increase by 585GW in 2024, reaching a total of 4,448 GW, setting a record annual growth rate of 15.1%. The global installed capacity of renewable energy in 2023 is 3,863 GW.
