Brunei will build a 30-megawatt solar power plant

Recently, Brunei is developing a 30-megawatt solar power generation project. This project will be carried out by the newly established joint venture company, Seri Suria Power (B) Sdn. Bhd. Be responsible for construction and operation. The company is composed of Atlantic Blue Sdn. Bhd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Malaysian solar installation company Solarvest Holdings Bhd, and Khazanah Satu Sdn. Bhd. And Serikandi Oilfield Services Sdn. Bhd. Established with joint investment. Atlantic Blue holds 34% of the shares of the joint venture, Khazanah Satu holds 30%, and Serikandi holds 36%. Solarvest confirmed in the documents submitted to the Malaysian Exchange that the government of Brunei has signed a 25-year power purchase agreement, which will come into effect from the date of commercial operation of the power plant. The construction of this power plant is expected to be completed by the end of next year.
