Bolivia is accelerating the application of solar energy.

According to a report by foreign media on November 15th, the application of solar energy in Bolivia continues to expand. Influenced by the national policy promoting renewable energy, many enterprises are accelerating the installation of solar systems and can choose to sell surplus electricity to the national interconnected system (SIN). The manager of Inchcape's sustainable development in the Americas pointed out that economic growth can go hand in hand with environmental responsibility. Inchcape has installed over 1,500 solar panels in the Americas region and has added systems in Peru, Bolivia, and Panama, moving towards carbon neutrality. A total of 275 solar panels have been installed in La Paz and Santa Cruz, covering 650 square meters with an installed capacity of 146.44 kWp, generating over 220 MWh of electricity annually. Among them, the 224 solar panel project at the KM12 logistics center in Santa Cruz can reduce 55 tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually; the national brewery (CBN) and Bisa Bank have also adopted solar systems, and the participation of enterprises is increasing rapidly. In Peru, two large facilities of Inchcape have added 88 700W solar panels, generating over 80 MWh of electricity annually; in Panama, the final grid connection of 340 solar panels is being completed, covering 88% of the electricity demand in this area.
