Oman Petroleum Development Company wins 100MW PV project
Oman's oil development company PDO has announced the signing of three renewable Energy production projects with OQ Alternative Energy and Total Energies, which are: The 100 MW PV project is located in the northern concession area of PDO, and two 100 MW wind projects (Riyah-1 and Riyah-2) are located in the southern concession area. Construction of all three projects will begin in the first quarter of 2025, and the photovoltaic power generation project is expected to begin operations in the second quarter of 2026.
