Yellow Zinc Plated No.8 Pan Head Self Tapping Screw
A classic No. 8 pan-head for large bearing area, a yellow-zinc (Cr3+) finish for 48 h salt-spray protection, and a Type-AB thread that cuts its own path in sheet-metal, plastic or hardwood—ideal for HVAC, electrical enclosures and general maintenance where cost-effective corrosion resistance is required.

Material: C1022 carbon steel, case-hardened to 450–500 HV surface, 320–380 HV core—strong threads, no strip-out.

Head: Pan (round) shape to ISO 7049—Ø 8.0 mm, height 2.6 mm; prevents pull-through and gives decorative finish.

Drive: Phillips cross-recess No. 2—high bit engagement, zero cam-out, fits every standard PH2 bit.

Thread: No. 8 (4.2 mm) × 1.41 mm pitch, Type AB; 45° gimlet point for fast start in 0.5–1.5 mm steel or plastics.
