Material: Made of carbon steel, which offers good strength and ductility, capable of withstanding certain tensile and shear forces. It can also undergo various processing and forming operations.
Performance Grade: Gr4.8, where 4 represents the tensile strength of the bolt material as 400 MPa, and 8 indicates 80% of the tensile strength, which is 320 MPa. This serves as the minimum yield strength of the bolt. It is suitable for light-duty applications such as general machinery, automotive parts, construction, and light industrial machinery.
Head Style: Hexagon head, featuring a regular hexagonal shape that provides a larger contact surface with the workpiece, distributing pressure more evenly to prevent damage to the workpiece. It also allows for easy wrench engagement, enabling convenient installation and removal.
Point Style: Dog point, which is a type of non-threaded point. Its pointed end facilitates alignment with the mating threaded hole, making it easier to screw in. Additionally, it can prevent loosening caused by vibration during use.
Surface Treatment: Galvanized, usually through hot-dip galvanizing or electroplating. The galvanized layer acts as a protective barrier, preventing rust and corrosion of the steel substrate. Thread Type: Typically uses coarse threads, which have strong compatibility and are suitable for most common usage scenarios. Fine threads are also available upon request.
Thread Length: Can be customized according to specific needs. Generally, for bolts with a head, the thread length is from the underside of the head to the end of the bolt.
Hardness: The Rockwell hardness of the bolt head is approximately HRC15-25, while the shank hardness is HRC15-20.
