Indonesia plans to install 100 GW of solar power capacity by 2029.

On August 25, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto launched a 100 GWp solar power project plan, with an estimated investment of approximately $73 billion. The project aims to develop 100 GW of solar power generation capacity, with a target to complete it by 2029. It is expected to save 73.9 trillion Indonesian rupiah (approximately $4.5 billion) in electricity costs annually. The government also aims to develop 30 GW of solar power capacity by 2026, while decommissioning 13 GW of diesel power plants.

Goshen Hardware can provide accessory support for solar projects.
